Track and manage links
See every onboarding link's status, copy it again, issue a new link, withdraw it, or delete an unused one.
Customer onboarding lists every link under Customer onboarding links: Track invitations before and after customers open them.

The table
| Column | |
|---|---|
| Link name | The name you gave it (Unnamed link for older links) |
| Customer | The tenant that connected. Before then, the link's own name (or Pending tenant) |
| Services | Microsoft 365, Azure or both |
| Created | |
| Status | See below |
| Last activity | The customer's last step |
Search by link name, customer or link ID, filter with All statuses, and choose Refresh list to check for changes.
| Status | Means |
|---|---|
| Ready | Waiting for the customer to open the link and complete consent |
| Completed | The customer connected |
| Partially connected | One of two requested services is connected |
| Expired | The link expired before the customer completed consent |
| Withdrawn | You withdrew it; it no longer works |
After the customer connects Microsoft 365
The customer's consent starts a Microsoft 365 sync, and the row says what that sync is doing: queued, syncing, synced, or failed with its reason. While Microsoft is still switching the app on, the row reads Connecting. Microsoft is finishing setup. with Refresh. If Microsoft refused the sync, the row reads Needs attention with the reason (for example Microsoft didn't let us read the tenant yet.) and Retry, which starts the sync again. The customer's M365 data tab says the same.
Link details
Click a row to open Link details: the Customer, Customer email, Services, what's Connected, when it was Created and when it Expires, and a Timeline of what the customer did. A Completed link with no live connection says Reconnecting may be needed: issue a new link so the customer can connect again. The details also show when the Microsoft 365 sync started and finished, with Retry and Refresh when they can help.

| Action | Does |
|---|---|
| Copy Microsoft 365 link / Copy Azure link | Copies the link to send again |
| Issue a new link | Choose the services and issue a fresh link. The old one stops working, and the customer accepts the terms again. Use it for an expired link, or to add Azure to a Microsoft 365 customer |
| Withdraw link | The link stops working straight away. You can issue a new one later |
| Delete | From the row's menu. For a link that was never completed: the link stops working and the unused customer record is removed. Can't be undone |
Nothing is emailed by these actions: copy the new link and send it yourself.
Who can act on a link
Everyone can withdraw and reissue the links they issued themselves. Acting on another person's link is for organization admins: members see the action held, with An organization admin can do this. beside it. Delete is for organization admins only.
