M365 data
The customer's Microsoft 365 tenant in Deal Hub: licenses and spend, user-level license recommendations, security, productivity, Copilot adoption and apps.
M365 data shows what Deal Hub read from the customer's Microsoft 365 tenant, read only. It fills in after the customer connects through an onboarding link.
If the tenant isn't connected, the tab says so, with Send an onboarding link to connect Microsoft 365. While the first sync runs: Microsoft 365 data is being collected. This page refreshes automatically when the sync finishes. While Microsoft is still switching the app on after the customer's consent, the tab says Connecting. Microsoft is finishing setup. with Refresh. If Microsoft refused the sync, the tab says why, with Retry.
The tenant card
The tenant's name and when it last synced. If part of the last sync failed, a line under Last synced says so (for example 1 dataset was not read). The card has:
- Refresh data (Retry sync after a failed sync): syncs the tenant again. Everyone with Deal Hub access can refresh.
- Disconnect (organization admins): asks Disconnect Microsoft 365? This removes the cached Microsoft 365 data and stored credentials for this customer. Deal products and Azure data are kept. To reconnect, send a new onboarding link. Members see An organization admin can do this. beside it.
If the customer's data needs reconnecting, a note says when it last synced and to reconnect the customer's Microsoft tenant to see current data, with Send reconnect link, which issues a new onboarding link. Refresh and Disconnect aren't offered on that data.
Microsoft access not verified
A Microsoft access not verified badge on the tenant card means Deal Hub couldn't confirm the background assessment access the customer approved. Some insights may stay empty. Ask the customer's administrator to use their onboarding link again; see the result pages.
The tab has four views: Overview, Licenses & Usage, Insights and Apps.
Overview
Tiles for Total Users, License SKUs, Licensed Users, Groups, third-party apps, Domains and Secure Score. Click a tile to open the view behind it. Licensing spend shows Est. Annual Licensing Cost, Est. Unused Spend, Seats Assigned and Projected Annual Saving.

Licenses & Usage
The summary tiles come in two groups, then three sections, chosen with the tabs Subscriptions, Tenant adoption and User licences:
| Group | Tiles |
|---|---|
| Licenses | Subscriptions, Purchased, Assigned, Unassigned, Utilization, Licensed Users |
| Cost and adoption | Est. Annual Licensing Cost, Est. Unused Spend, Highest Cost Subscription, Tenant Adoption Score |
When the Tenant Adoption Score reads Review, it says what to review, for example Review: Microsoft Teams over 100%. Its info mark explains: More people use this than hold a license for it, usually through a free plan, a trial or another bundle, so the score may not show real adoption.

Subscriptions
Every subscription with its Status, End date, Available, Consumed, Utilisation, Unit price, ERP price, Incentives, Annual partner cost and Annual ERP cost, all in the opportunity's currency. Prices come from Partner Center first, then this tenant's uploaded price list, then the global default. Click a subscription for its details, or an incentive for its breakdown. Export to Excel downloads what the table shows after search and filters.
The Subscription Details header names the Purchase source that prices the table, and you can change it there. It's the same setting as Scenario planning's Purchase source: choosing another supplier reprices this table and updates every scenario in the background. A note above the table says what changed, or why it couldn't.
A $0 line carries the same marks as on Products & pricing: a free note such as Included free by Microsoft, or a warning icon whose popover says why (retired, not in the price list, or waiting on something). A suspended subscription with no enabled seats reads Suspended, with Not billed in its price cells, the reason and the list price for reference.
Click a subscription to open Subscription details: status, end date, seats, prices, annual partner cost, SKU and its incentive levers. For a retired or unpriced license, Deal Hub reviews it (Reviewing unpriced and retired licences...) and its row offers advice in plain words (for example Retired by Microsoft; renews as Microsoft Teams Premium): hover it to read AI migration advice, with an Action plan, the recommended replacement and its price, what to Watch out for, and what to Say to the customer.

Tenant adoption
The Tenant adoption score, Overall health and Active workloads, then each workload's usage, health and 30-day trend. Export to Excel downloads it as a workbook.
User licenses
User License Intelligence lists every user with their Assigned Licenses, Last Activity, activity in Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, M365 Desktop Apps and Copilot, Duplicates (overlapping licenses), Risk, the Recommendation, its Confidence, Insights, the Recommended License and the Est. Annual Saving, in the opportunity's currency.
A user the optimizer has no recommendation for says why in Recommendation: No license assigned or Free licenses only. The export says the same.
Choose Refresh optimization to run the license optimizer again. AI findings opens a written reading of the whole result: each finding with its impact, and the risks to watch. Filter to users who Needs action or to Licensed Users, open a user for the detail behind their recommendation, or choose Export to Excel to download the table as a workbook.

These recommendations feed the Right Sized and Optimized scenarios. See Scenario planning.
Insights
One page: Security, then Productivity with each workload's usage and storage, then AI Adoption, one after another.
Security
- Secure Score cards: click one for its top recommendations, with Open in Microsoft 365 Security Portal. Top improvements lists the biggest gains.
- Device compliance: compliant and non-compliant devices; open the device list.
- Risky users: users Microsoft flags as at risk, by level; open the list.
- AI security plan: an agent works through the security controls (This takes about a minute) and returns a plan. It counts which users hold the licence each control needs: a control only some users are licensed for is planned for them, scoped with a security group, and the licence for the rest is listed under Unlock with a licence (for example Microsoft 365 E7, Microsoft Entra Suite or Agent 365). Refresh AI plan runs it again.
- Export to Excel downloads the insights as a workbook.

Productivity
The M365 Adoption pillars (for example Communication, Meetings, Content collaboration) with Adoption Details, and storage by workload. Usage and health per workload are under Licenses & Usage › Tenant adoption.
AI Adoption
AI Adoption Score, Active Copilot Users, Copilot Licences, Copilot agents, Per-App Copilot Adoption, Paid Copilot licences, Copilot Chat user details, and top-10 lists of Copilot users.
Apps
Application Inventory: All applications registered in the tenant with usage analytics. Filter by All, Microsoft or Third-party and by category, and search by app name or publisher. Click an app's Active users (30d) to see who signed in. Export to Excel downloads the list.
Competitive Tools Detected lists competitor tools in active use. Manage them on Tech Stack.
When data is missing
A figure Microsoft didn't report says Not reported; one Deal Hub hasn't read yet says Not synced yet. If part of the last sync failed, the tab says, for example, 1 dataset was not read; click it to see Not read in the last sync and what was affected. If permissions were missing when the customer connected, some areas stay empty. Ask the customer to use Re-grant permissions; see What your customer sees.
