Create a customer link
Create a secure onboarding link that asks a customer to connect Microsoft 365, Azure or both, and copy a ready-to-send invitation email.
Every customer starts with an onboarding link. You create it, send it to the customer, and the customer's IT administrator uses it to connect their Microsoft 365 or Azure tenant (read only) and upload documents. Deal Hub creates the customer record straight away and names it after the tenant that connects.

Create a link
You can start from Customer onboarding or from the Customers list: both have a Create customer link button. Anyone with Deal Hub access can create one.
Name the link
Choose Create customer link. Enter a Link name you'll recognize, for example GetOnyx FY27 renewal. Use a recognizable name so the invitation can be tracked before the customer clicks it.

Choose the services
Under Onboarding links, tick Microsoft 365 (M365 licensing and usage onboarding), Microsoft Azure (Azure environment onboarding), or both. DealHub will name the customer from the Microsoft tenant that completes onboarding.
Generate the invite
Choose Generate invite. You'll see Review customer invite: Customer created. No email has been sent.
Edit and copy the email
The invitation is a ready-made email you can edit: the Subject, Greeting, Introduction and Privacy note. The secure links themselves can't be changed.
- Copy email copies the whole message to paste into your email client.
- Copy link copies one link on its own.

Send it
Send the email from your own mailbox to the customer's IT administrator, then choose Done. Deal Hub doesn't send it for you.
After Done, Deal Hub opens Customer onboarding with Onboarding links ready at the top and the new link selected, so you can copy it again. If the invite step didn't appear (The customer was created, but DealHub did not return an onboarding link), issue one there.
You can come back to the links at any time from Customer onboarding. See Track and manage links.
What happens next
When the customer connects, the new customer appears on the Customers list, named after their tenant, and Deal Hub starts reading their data. Their M365 data and Azure data tabs fill in once the first sync finishes, and the documents they uploaded appear in Documents.
Settings are in Onyx Platform
Deal Hub has no settings of its own. Every setting it uses is in Onyx Platform's Settings, and old Deal Hub settings links open the matching Platform page.
