Create a quote
Create a Quote from any scenario, what Deal Hub checks first, products shown at $0, and regenerating Optimized.
Create a Quote sits at the top right of every scenario. It opens the quote builder in the Document Studio with this scenario chosen. The quote itself is built there: see Build, review and download a quote.
As Is, Right Sized and Optimized are quoted on their own: none waits for another to be approved first. Your own scenarios are quoted from their last saved change.
Choose Create a Quote
Open the scenario you want to quote and choose Create a Quote. The button shows Opening… while the studio opens. If the scenarios are still updating, it reads Quote after the update and opens once the update finishes.
Check products shown at $0, if asked
Create a Quote is never switched off. Deal Hub first saves what the page shows. If some products have no price, it lists them under Products shown at $0 (These products will show as $0 on the quote:), each with its seats and the reason. Choose Edit to go to the first one and fix it, or Continue to quote them at $0.
Build the quote
The quote builder opens. See Build, review and download a quote. Deal Hub also saves a snapshot of the scenarios for the quote.
If the prices moved between opening the page and saving, Deal Hub says Prices changed since you opened this; review again and reads the scenarios again.
Regenerate Optimized
When the customer's licenses change, Optimized may need regenerating: the sentence under its name says so, with its button. It opens Approve Optimized, which reads today's license assignments. If seats you approved removing are back in use, it tells you (Seats you approved removing go back on. Cancel to keep your removal.). Choose Approve changes.
When something needs a person
A quote never waits on an administrator. Product-level problems (no price, an identity to pick, a term to confirm, a retired offer) show as a warning icon on that product's row, with one action to fix it. See The lines.
If Pricing Unavailable shows, Connect Partner Center or approve a CSP price list before quoting. Upload and activate a price list in Onyx Platform's Settings › Pricing (see Pricing).
